What is a dialect director? 

 

      "I have had the profound pleasure to work closely, on multiple occasions with Megan Sandberg-Zakian, her directing style is bold and inclusive. Megan first dubbed my unique style of vocal coaching, “dialect directing”. Under Megan’s direction I have been allowed to stage, direct recordings, lead private rehearsals and solve storytelling issues in new plays. After several instances of Megan reminding me that I am a director, I began to believe it."
